IFIAD hosts the knowledge and learning component of the Ireland Africa Rural Development Committee (IARDC), including “approaches to inclusive economic growth and efficacy in reaching the furthest behind first with a focus on women farmers, entrepreneurs and women in business”.

The IARDC is a platform in which stakeholders from different spheres of influence (agri-business, state agencies, research, academia and civil society), with interests in rural development in Africa may collaborate with each other.
